Perfect to display on your wall or as a decorative table piece, this tray is woven from palm leaves ethically sourced from Iraq’s famed Mesopotamian Marshes.

Certified Fair Trade by the Fair Trade Federation & handcrafted by an Iraqi artisan seeking to build a better life for her or his family.

Each tray measures 19.7” in diameter (50 cm) and is handwoven using sustainably harvested palm leaves.

THAMEENA HADI

Thameena Hadi Hussein lives in southern Iraq and has been creating coil baskets for 30 years. She partnered with Prosperity Catalyst to train other women artisans and to hire graduates to work with her. Thameena graduated from the business management training offered by Prosperity Catalyst in order to gain better understanding about how to run a small business and is now able to hire even more women.
